Scarlett Fontecha: A Life Through the Lens

Hi! I’m Scarlett Fontecha, a Panamanian-Mexican photographer, creative spirit, and proud storyteller through images. With a degree in Audiovisual Arts from the University of Guadalajara and over a decade of experience behind the camera, I’ve turned my love for visual storytelling into a life filled with creative adventures.

My journey has taken me from Panama to Mexico, Sweden, and now Vancouver, BC. Along the way, I’ve worn many hats: production assistant for fashion campaigns, co-creator of a local talent agency, photography freelancer, and most recently, a clinical assistant supporting children in therapeutic spaces. Each role has sharpened my eye, my empathy, and my ability to adapt and connect, key ingredients in every photo I take.

I specialize in capturing honest moments, whether it’s a concert, portrait session, or artistic product shoot. My style blends emotion, light, and intention, always with a warm and playful touch.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about languages (I speak Spanish, English, some Swedish, and I’m learning French!), exploring cultures.
